SAD PALACE BREEZE

Sad Palace have revealed suitably colourful visuals for their current single 'Breeze'. The Portsmouth four, who are releasing music via taste-making London label Kissability (Circa Waves, Courtney Barnett), are making twitchingly smile-inducing pop-rock that nods to the likes of Two Door and The 1975, thanks to sparkling guitar lines, bouncing bass lines and intricate, rhythmic breakdowns. Of the video the band explain, "We thought it would be cool to play with the viscosity of fluids and see how that worked with the music. You get some really satisfying moments making it, where maybe a bit of sludge naturally flicks off or flows in a way that just works with a little part or rhythm. It's kind of mesmerising we think." We think so too. -G.O'B
